Their name was influenced by the Brazilian band Legião Urbana. Formed in 2005 by frontman Marcos César, the band quickly became one of the top metal acts in their native country, Portugal. Urban Tales is a Portuguese rock music project based in Lisbon, with acoustic, heavy metal and gothic influences in their sound.
